A quiet lifeline for the women and girls you love. One long-press tells the people she trusts that she needs help, why, and where she is, without making a sound and without tracking her.

It starts as a feeling. And in that moment, a phone call can make things worse.
She can’t ask the driver what’s going on. She can quietly let you know.
She doesn’t want to cause a scene. She just wants someone to come and get her.
Someone is following a little too closely. Her hands are full, and so is her mind.
You can’t be there every minute. But you can make sure the right people know the moment she needs them.
A long-press on her companion’s name. No call, no siren, nothing on screen to draw attention.
She picks why she needs help, so her contacts know how to respond, not just that something is wrong.
Two or three trusted contacts, each one confirmed with a test message before Silent Alert is ever called ready.
Her location goes with the alert, and she can send an update any time with another long-press.
Her contacts get clear next steps, so a frightening text turns into a calm plan.
Nobody watches her location day to day. It is shared only when she decides to send it.
Two or three people who are willing and able to be there. Each one confirms a test message, so she knows the alert will reach them.
A long-press on her companion’s name, then she picks the reason. That’s it.
Each contact gets a text with the reason, her location and a link with instructions. She can send location updates with another long-press.
She can end an alert once she’s safe. But Silent Alert is built to stand up to someone who has taken her phone: MyPal opens only with her face or fingerprint plus her PIN, its controls aren’t obvious to a stranger, and ending an alert takes a private action that only she knows.

Built-in emergency features are excellent, and she should have them turned on. They are designed for a different moment.

Any step you take to be prepared is better than winging it and hoping everything will be okay.
Most nights, she’ll never need it. That’s exactly the point. Silent Alert is there for the one night she does.
No, and that is by design. Her location is shared only when she sends an alert or an update. She stays in control, which is why she will actually use it.
On Android, the alert texts are sent automatically. On iPhone, Apple requires her to tap Send on the prepared message. It is still quick, with nothing to dial and nothing to say out loud. To keep it truly silent, she can keep her iPhone in Silent mode (the Ring/Silent switch or Action button), which also mutes the “whoosh” sound a message makes when it is sent.
No. Silent Alert goes to the people she trusts, and it gives them what they need to act. Every alert includes a link to a detailed “what to do” guide: whether to call her or stay silent so they don’t give her away, how to respond to each type of alert, and when to call for help. It even lists the emergency numbers for countries around the world, so her contacts know exactly who to call wherever she is. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911 or the local emergency number.
A phone with cell service that can send text messages, location turned on, and at least two contacts who have confirmed the test message.
The Guardian Plan is bought on the phone that will use it, through Google Play or the App Store. Many fathers sit down with their daughter and set it up together, which takes only a few minutes.
Yes, in two ways. Online: her conversations, contacts and settings are stored only on her phone, never on our servers, and alerts travel as ordinary text messages from her phone to her contacts. We don’t sell data, show ads or track her.
On her phone: MyPal is protected from prying eyes. It opens only with her face or fingerprint plus her PIN, her voice is verified on the device itself, and sensitive information such as her trusted contacts is encrypted. Even if someone picks up her phone, they can’t simply open MyPal and look around. Read our privacy policy.
Five minutes of setup tonight. A way to reach you, quietly, whenever she needs it.
Important: Silent Alert is one layer of a personal safety plan. It is not an emergency service, does not contact police, fire or ambulance services, and is not a replacement for calling 911 or your local emergency number. It depends on cell service, text-message delivery by mobile carriers, location services and the availability of the contacts she chooses, none of which MyPal controls. Delivery cannot be guaranteed.
Subscriptions are purchased and managed through Google Play or the App Store, renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are subject to the store’s terms. Prices vary by country. See our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
