A long press on your companion's name sends a chosen message and your location to the people you trust, with no sound and no siren. On Android, the message sends automatically. On iPhone, Apple requires you to tap Send for each message. While the alert is active, another long press sends your updated location, and "I am safe now" sends the all-clear.
Silent Alert requires at least two trusted contacts that you have tested. It depends on your cell service and text-message delivery, so it is one layer of your safety plan, not a replacement for calling emergency services.

Yes. Your conversations, memories, and personal details are stored only on your device, never on our servers. To hear you and reply, what you say is sent securely to Google Cloud (speech) and OpenAI (responses) for processing. MyPal doesn't keep a copy. You can read the details in our Privacy Policy.
MyPal also uses biometric protection (fingerprint or face recognition) and voice-print technology to ensure only you can access your companion. You stay in control and can review, reset, or erase memories at any time.
MyPal uses long-term memory technology to remember your preferences, habits, important life details, and ongoing conversations. Unlike session-based chatbots that forget everything after each conversation, MyPal maintains continuity over time. This memory lives entirely on your device and is encrypted for security.

Because your conversations, notes, and memories are stored on your own device rather than on our servers, cancelling your subscription does not delete them.
