MyPal is a secure, voice-activated AI companion designed to provide personalized assistance through artificial intelligence with strict privacy controls.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MyPal, including mobile app features, web content, and related services ("Service").

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use MyPal you must:

• Be able to legally enter into binding agreements

Parents/guardians are responsible for minors using MyPal.

3. User Privacy and Local Processing

MyPal is designed to preserve user privacy and minimize external data processing.

Unless explicitly chosen by the user:

• Personal information and memories remain stored on the device
• MyPal will not upload personal conversation data externally
• Biometric or voiceprint authentication remains local

External cloud syncing or export occurs only when initiated by the user through Settings.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when required
• Maintain the confidentiality of your device/app login credentials
• Notify MyPal support of unauthorized access concerns

You agree not to:

• Misuse, disrupt, or circumvent security features
• Reverse engineer or modify source code
• Upload malicious software or harmful content
• Use the Service illegally or to violate rights of others

5. AI-Generated Content

MyPal uses algorithmic models to generate responses. You acknowledge that:

• Generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete
• MyPal does not provide legal, financial, medical, or mental health advice
• You must verify any critical information independently

6. Intellectual Property

MyPal and all associated software, design, content, and trademarks remain the intellectual property of MyPal or licensors.

These Terms do not grant you ownership rights.

7. Modifications & Updates

We may update or modify the Service at any time, including app features, capabilities, or these Terms.

When material changes occur, MyPal will provide notice through the app or related communication channels.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.

Disputes will be resolved first through informal negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration conducted on an individual basis. Class action waivers apply.
